I believe that the education of the children is paramount but the punishment is necessary in some occasions as long as they do with every thought and with a cool head to not hurt.
Lee Woodruff think spanking children is a measure that on occasion it may be appropriate for children, as recalling the time when his parents were punished prevent them from committing the error. While Romi Lassally considers it convenient whipping children, says there are other measures that can be taken, is dangerous because if a father whips him with anger could hurt.
I if I agree but as long as the heart is made to correct them.

This delightful CD, recorded live at Debbie’s Café in Wayland, New York,features familiar multi-cultural tales given new life by the strong voice and enthusiastic telling of an intuitive teller who grabs the essence of each tale and makes it sing. Cris Riedel clearly treasures these stories. From England’s Lazy Jack, the folktale predecessor of Forrest Gump, to Europe’s Clever Manka, who outsmarts the men in her life at every turn, the listener in engaged and eagerly anticipates the next chapter.

Do some folks really believe that men work harder than women? Let them listen to the perils and pratfalls of Sweden’s The Husband Who Minded the House. That will set them straight! Little Rough Face, a Mic Mac Version of the Cinderella theme, and Japan’s The Boy Who Drew Cats both feature outcasts whose hearts and talents win for them both love and honor. The First Strawberries is a pour quoi tale about how that delicious fruit came to flourish in Cherokee country. If an angry woman does not notice the first enticement, make the next one irresistible. Having the Sun as a friend is helpful. Friends Always, from India, details the strong bond of friendship that develops between an elephant and a dog. An elephant is also involved in the Chinese tale Elephant and Hummingbird, which reminds us that if we all do our part, the impossible may become possible.

Riedel’s stories are nice complemented by Karen Wollscheid’s colorful CD design. The wise owl on the cover seems particularly appropriate. Kudos to Brandon Pender, recording engineering, for manufacturing a live café CD that sounds flawless enough to have been recorded in studio.

As Riedel states both in her introduction and on her CD jacket, these stories are “so old on one knows who told them first.” Such things do not really matter. With talented tellers like Riedel sharing them, these tales are given a life of their own. They will live in the hearts of listeners and be passed along until time’s end.

Comment:

While everyone in our childhood dream of fairy tales and talking trees, and not a lie to anyone that the stories told of our parents in childhood was a sweet whisper before going to sleep. Listen to the sweet voice of our parents to express such fantastic stories revive us unforgettable moments, and wanting to encourage our children to hear stories of stories for ourselves is one of the best experiences lived.

It is a joy, and we encourage future generations to keep alive these stories told.

Writing Task #1

Would you describe yourself as a workaholic?
I enjoy my work I like what I do. In fact I love it.
However I think that family is the most important thing in life. The job helps the familly to improve the quality of life of all the members.
Sociability  and friends outside work are important but not neccesary.
To be an workaholic is very bad, because it is very stressfull and  hard for family and friends. I don’t like being a workaholic. I disagree because it is not beneficial for the health.
I help a lot of people doing my work and it is very rewarding, because when I go home I feel  relieved and happy. 
I do realized about the personal benefits  of being an excellent worker.  However it is possible to be efficient without being workaholic.

Do you think abortion is a crime?
Yes, it is, because it interrupts  life of a fetus and I think life is beautiful .
To feel the baby moving inside during pregnacy is amazing. God does not like abortion because only him can take life away.
When a woman has an abortion it is a criminal action in front of God’s eyes.
I am a mother and I think it is the best experience of life.
The babies are a present from God and it does not matter when he or she comes, it is a blessing for the mother. 
I do not undernstand how there are some people that support abortion, absolutely the abortion is a crime, because it is not in  God`s plan.

Do you prefer junk food to homemade food?
I prefer homemade food, because it is more healthier than junk food, I think that cooking at  home is fun and the food is good.
I don’t have cholesterol and I am slim and healthy. I enjoy eating salads of lettuce and vegetables a lot. I love to cook for my family and friends.
People usually say “her food is very good” and I feel very happy about it.
I learned to cook from my mother she is a wonderfuI cook. Her homemade food based in typical dishes are so good. When I cook I use a lot of natural ingredients to mix with different dishes. My mom used to say that the secret of food preparation are the ingredients and the most important ingredient is to cook with love.

Would you prefer to stay at a hotel/ motel or camp while on vacation?
I prefer to stay camping than in a hotel on vacation time, because it’s more exciting for me.
I can listen the birds singing, the wind hitting the trees in the mountain.
Also at nigth time I love to watch the starts in the sky. I can scream “this is great”, because I love camping. I don’t worry about comfort. For me it is enougth to be in a tent with my love ones.
I`m not scared about sleeping with the animals around, and  it is exciting for me.
My son has a lot of fun camping, he loves nature like me. It makes me very happy to share with him in the adventure tours. We love to see the stars in the sky; this experience is very  romantic and inspiring.

What do you do to stay healthy?
I`m a healthy person that is why  my daily activities are much easier. 
I don’t eat fat, because it is bad for the body and  arteries.
I love to run and skate, it is exciting for me. It helps me to reduce calories.
When I cook I prefer to cook vegetables in water and  I don’t drink juice  with sugar,
I don’t eat anything that have sugar. I do prefer to eat fruits, natural juice, white meats and salads.
I drink a lot of water all  the time so  it could save my life, because the body is 85% water. If you don’t drink water, you will not be hydrated.
Staying healthy is important for me. In fact, if I exercise, eat well and drink a lot of water I feel very energetic and I can do all the activities at home and at work without feeling tired.
